There is a very common misconception about

that mental health therapists do nothing but prescribe medicines and rely on

of your problem, they will start initiating behavioral therapy sessions. This
will involve helping you slowly and gradually changing your habits and attitude
towards depression itself. It is isn’t an easy or simple process and could take
months of work. But you need to bear in mind that it is by no means a never-ending
process. In fact, the therapist will do their best to ensure that you are able
to function on your own as soon as possible.
